Summary

Working on a production line in our small factories, you'll be involved in the manufacture of flapjacks or muffins. Duties involve anything from hands-on involvement operating a mixer, moving raw materials, operating a manual press, running a small automated sheeting machine, packing at the end of a wrapping line, etc.

The work can be quite manual, and requires you to be on your feet the majority of the shift.

Essential requirements

Ideally you'd have experience within the food industry, so you understand the rules and requirements of working with food, but it isn't essential. Ideally you'd also have experience within a factory environment, so you've got an understanding of what this sort of environment is like, but again this isn't essential. Ultimately we're after someone with a positive attitude, who's willing to learn and to apply themselves. If this is you, then there's likely to be an opportunity to progress to management roles in time. We do require all operatives to have a reasonable level of English speaking and understanding, as we're a small Business so can't guarantee being able to put you into a team with the same foreign language. Unfortunately we also don't employ 16 or 17 year olds, due to the factory nature of the work we can provide.
