Summary

Sales Controller – Hinckley

We are recruiting for an experienced Sales Controller, Used Car Sales Controller or Automotive Sales Controller to join a busy used car supermarket in Hinckley. Applicants must have previous used car sales experience and experience leading or managing an automotive sales team, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. Experience within a high-volume dealership or used car supermarket is desirable.

Location: Hinckley, Leicestershire

Salary: £30,000 Basic + Uncapped Commission

OTE: £60,000

Hours: 42.5 hours per week | Every Saturday and Sunday essential, with 2 days off during the week

Monday to Friday: Rota basis between 10:00am–9:00pm

Saturday: 10:00am–8:00pm

Sunday: 10:00am–6:00pm

Sales Controller Role

- Lead, motivate and support the sales team to achieve vehicle sales targets

- Support Sales Executives with customer negotiations and closing deals

- Maximise vehicle sales, finance penetration and additional product opportunities

- Monitor sales performance, conversion rates and deal profitability

- Coach Sales Executives to improve sales performance and customer experience

- Support the management team with daily showroom operations

- Ensure all sales documentation and processes meet FCA compliance requirements

Sales Controller Requirements

- Previous used car sales experience within the automotive industry

- Experience leading or managing a vehicle sales team

- Strong sales closing, negotiation and objection-handling skills

- Experience working towards sales, finance and profitability targets

- Good understanding of FCA compliance and automotive sales processes

- Experience within a high-volume dealership or used car supermarket is desirable

- Full UK Driving Licence and right to work in the UK

- Must be available to work every Saturday and Sunday, with 2 days off during the week

- FCA accreditation or willingness to complete training
