About the role

Are you an experienced HR professional who can help people and managers navigate change with confidence? We’re looking for an HR Business Partner to lead our TUPE consultation activity and play a central role in organisational change across Pact for the next year.

You’ll work alongside colleagues in our Human Resources and Workforce Development team, providing specialist HR support from the earliest stages of change through consultation, implementation and beyond. Combining sound employment-law knowledge with a pragmatic and people-centred approach, you’ll equip managers with the advice, tools and confidence they need to support their teams well through change.

What you will be doing

· Leading TUPE consultation activity and providing specialist HR support throughout organisational change

· Supporting the pre- and post-change process, working closely with HR colleagues and managers

· Undertaking HR due diligence and analysing ELI data

· Creating practical change-management guidance and toolkits

· Coaching and training managers to handle change and other HR matters confidently

· Using people data and trends to identify issues and make evidence-based recommendations

· Managing a small caseload of employee relations matters, including complex cases

What we are looking for

• CIPD Level 5 (or above) qualified, or equivalent, with substantial relevant HR experience and strong knowledge of employment law, TUPE and organisational change, alongside a demonstrable commitment to continuous professional development.

• Excellent generalist HR experience at HR Adviser, HR People Partner level or equivalent

• Demonstrable experience of change management, TUPE and redundancy processes

• Proven experience of managing complex ER cases, including absence, disciplinary, grievances and appeals

• Working knowledge of employment legislation and best practice

• Experience of partnering with and coaching managers, and of producing and analysing HR metrics
