About Pact

Pact is a highly respected independent charity working across England and Wales. We provide practical and emotional support to prisoners' children and families, to prisoners, and to those resettling back into the community.

Our work is founded on a belief in the innate dignity of every human being, with a focus on human relationships, family, and community.

The Opportunity

If you want to lead work that directly strengthens families at one of the most difficult times in their lives, this role puts you at the centre of that effort.

As Family Engagement Manager at HMP Isis, you will manage Pact's visitor centre services — creating a welcoming, well-run environment where families can maintain meaningful connections with their loved ones.

What you'll be doing

- Managing the visitor centre provision at HMP Isis

- Overseeing the prison's booking line service

- Coordinating family visit catering services

- Facilitating play sessions for children during family visits

- Delivering family-focused interventions including homework clubs, special visits, and themed family days

- Supporting families' access to secure video visits

- Coordinating with subcontractors working within the Visits Centre

What we're looking for

- Demonstrable ability to coordinate a broad range of services

- Experience of working with families in a challenging multi-agency environment, preferably involving offenders and/or their families

- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage a demanding workload

- Ability to contribute to the planning and development of Pact's family work

- Knowledge of safeguarding and child protection practices

- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build partnerships across agencies

What we offer

- Free advice, information, and counselling service

- Contributory pension

- Corporate eye care scheme

- Cycle to work scheme

- Generous holiday entitlement

- Training and development opportunities

- A thorough induction and a supportive team
