Regional Construction Group (RCG) is recruiting an organised, proactive Account Manager to join our office team in Stockport. You will be a key point of contact for clients and our site operatives, overseeing property maintenance jobs from the initial instruction through to completion.
This is an office-based role, ideal for someone who enjoys coordinating people, keeping accurate records and making sure clients receive clear, timely updates. You will manage the day-to-day progress of jobs, keeping work moving and making sure actions are followed through.
Permanent, full-time: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
Location: Our Stockport office.
Key responsibilities:
• Receive new job instructions, maintenance enquiries and work orders by telephone, email and client systems.
• Enter jobs accurately onto our system, recording the scope, site details, access information, priorities and client requirements.
• Clarify missing information and make sure operatives have the details needed before attending.
• Coordinate with our workers, subcontractors and the office team to arrange attendance and keep jobs progressing.
• Monitor each job from instruction to completion, tracking appointments, materials, quotations, approvals and outstanding actions.
• Keep clients informed of attendance arrangements, progress, delays and the next steps.
• Speak with operatives to obtain updates, job sheets, photographs and details of further work required.
• Follow up outstanding quotations, access arrangements and client approvals.
• Maintain clear, up-to-date records on our job management system and relevant client portals.
• Respond professionally to client queries and raise urgent issues or concerns with the appropriate manager.
• Check completion information is received and ensure the job record is ready for invoicing.
• Build positive working relationships with clients and colleagues through reliable communication and attention to detail.
You will need to be comfortable handling several jobs at different stages, changing priorities when urgent work comes in and taking ownership of follow-up actions. Experience in property maintenance, construction, facilities management or a similar service environment would be useful.
