Pure Staff are currently recruiting for an experienced

Class 1 Driver to join a well-established logistics operation based in the

Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional

Class 1 Driver looking for ongoing day work, regular start times and the chance to secure permanent employment with a highly regarded transport operation.

Offering straightforward trunking work with refrigerated trailers, no handball and optional weekend overtime, this is a role that continues to attract drivers seeking consistency and long-term opportunities.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday

  • £17.00 per hour PAYE

  • £19.05 per hour PAYE including rolled-up holiday pay

Saturday

  • £19.00 per hour PAYE

  • £21.29 per hour PAYE including rolled-up holiday pay

Sunday & Bank Holidays

  • £20.00 per hour PAYE

  • £22.41 per hour PAYE including rolled-up holiday pay

Rolled-up holiday pay is available as an optional payment method for this vacancy.

About the Role

We are recruiting a

Class 1 Driver for a leading logistics and distribution operation within the temperature-controlled supply chain sector. This role offers ongoing work throughout the year, excellent facilities and strong potential for drivers seeking long-term employment or a future permanent position.

The work is clean and straightforward, involving refrigerated trailer trunking between distribution centres with no manual handling required.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Trunking chilled and refrigerated goods to RDCs

  • Driving Class 1 vehicles safely and professionally

  • Completing vehicle checks before and after shifts

  • Complying with Driver Hours and Working Time regulations

  • Maintaining accurate delivery and transport paperwork

  • Following site procedures and health and safety requirements

  • Delivering a professional service at all times

  • No handball involved

Shift Pattern

  • Monday to Friday

  • Ongoing long-term work

  • Optional Saturday and Sunday overtime available

  • Typical start times between 5:00am and 6:00am

  • Occasional later starts up to 10:00am

  • Shift durations between 8 and 12 hours

  • Day shifts

Requirements

  • Valid Class 1 (Category C+E) Licence

  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card

  • Good understanding of drivers' hours regulations

  • Reliable and professional approach

  • Strong safety awareness

  • Previous Class 1 driving experience preferred
