HGV Class 2 Driver to join our trusted client in the Bristol area. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced

HGV Class 2 Driver looking for consistent Monday to Friday work with a well-established logistics operation.

This role offers regular start times, ongoing work and the opportunity to secure permanent employment with the client for the right candidate.

Pay Rates

Monday to Friday

  • £16.97 per hour (PAYE)

  • £19.02 per hour including holiday pay

Holiday Pay

  • Holiday entitlement is accrued separately in line with PAYE regulations.

About the Role

Working within the logistics and transport industry, this

HGV Class 2 Driver position involves delivering and installing equipment at customer premises as part of a two-person crew. The role combines professional driving duties with customer-facing responsibilities and offers full training for installation tasks.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Heavy handball work as part of a two-person delivery team

  • Delivery and installation of printers at customer locations

  • Full installation training provided

  • Occasional installation of secure parcel locker units

  • Ensuring all deliveries and installations are completed safely and efficiently

  • Providing excellent customer service at every delivery point

  • Completing delivery paperwork and records accurately

  • Carrying out daily vehicle checks and reporting any defects

  • Adhering to all driving regulations and company procedures

Shift Pattern

  • Monday to Friday

  • No weekend work required

  • 06:00 AM start times

  • Typical shifts of 10-12 hours per day

  • Ongoing long-term work

  • Consistent weekly hours available

Requirements

  • Valid Category C (Class 2) Licence

  • Valid Driver CPC Qualification Card

  • Valid Digital Tachograph Card

  • Good customer service skills

  • Ability to undertake heavy lifting and handball work

  • Professional and reliable approach to work

  • Strong understanding of driver hours and road transport regulations
