Summary

Make your mark as a PR Senior Account Executive in the PR & Communications sector, based in Glasgow.

Here's what you'll be doing:

Manage a portfolio of client accounts day-to-day, acting as the main point of contact for queries and updates

Draft press releases, pitches and media materials that actually get read and picked up

Build and maintain relationships with journalists, editors and influencers across relevant sectors

Monitor coverage and compile reports that show clients what's working and what isn't

Support senior colleagues on strategy and campaign planning, contributing your own ideas rather than just executing theirs

Coordinate events, launches and press opportunities from planning through to delivery

Here are the skills you'll need:

A couple of years' experience in a PR or communications role, agency or in-house

Sharp writing skills. You need to be able to turn a dull update into a story worth telling

Confidence pitching to media and holding your own on client calls

Genuine interest in current affairs, trends and what makes news

Comfortable working across multiple accounts at once without dropping the ball

A collaborative streak. You'll be expected to pitch in wherever the day needs you
