Summary

Responsible for developing and managing the marketing and commercial strategy for LS WHOLESALE LTD’s planned online grocery business, serving individual retail customers and business wholesale customers.

* Plan and coordinate the online launch, setting marketing objectives, campaign schedules and commercial performance targets for management approval.

* Analyse customer demand, competitor activity and purchasing trends to identify opportunities across retail and wholesale markets.

* Develop and manage digital marketing campaigns, including paid advertising, email and social media, to attract customers and encourage repeat purchases.

* Prepare and manage approved marketing budgets, monitor expenditure and evaluate campaign returns.

* Develop pricing and promotional recommendations using product margins, order values, delivery costs and competitor analysis.

* Prepare online sales forecasts and assess the profitability and commercial risks of proposed campaigns and offers.

* Negotiate terms with marketing service providers and commercial partners within delegated authority, and monitor agreed deliverables.

* Coordinate with website providers and the company’s sales, customer service and stock teams to align campaigns with product availability and fulfilment capacity.

* Monitor website conversion rates, customer acquisition costs, repeat purchases and online revenue, implementing improvements against agreed targets.

* Report marketing results, budget performance and commercial recommendations to senior management.
