Summary

Ipswich Borough Council is responsible for the care and management of four cemeteries, a crematorium, and a busy masonry department. We are now seeking a skilled and dedicated Stonemason to join our team on a full-time, permanent contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional who is passionate about their craft and takes pride in producing high-quality memorials.

About the Role:

• Work closely with one other experienced stonemason as part of our established team, delivering memorial masonry services to the highest standards.

• Use your expertise in Mason Art to create accurate set-outs.

• Carry out sandblasting and all associated memorial stonemason tasks with precision and care.

• Engage directly with bereaved families, providing compassionate and professional support in a public-facing role.
