Make a Difference Beyond the Classroom
SEND Inclusion Support is looking for a dedicated and compassionate SEND Outreach Teacher to support children and young people across Manchester who need a more personalised approach to education.
We work with pupils who experience barriers to accessing mainstream education, including those with autism, social, emotional and mental health (SEMH) needs, anxiety and emotionally based school avoidance (EBSA).
Our approach focuses on building positive relationships, understanding individual needs and creating meaningful learning opportunities that help pupils regain confidence, engage with education and make progress.
This is an opportunity for a qualified teacher who wants to use their skills in a flexible, relationship-led setting where learning is tailored to the individual child.
The Role
As a SEND Outreach Teacher, you will deliver personalised educational provision based on each pupil's needs, abilities, interests and learning goals. Sessions may take place in the home, community or online, depending on the pupil and the agreed provision.
