We are particularly interested in appointing someone who is confident in practical and technical design and who can inspire pupils through high-quality teaching, strong subject knowledge and engaging project work.

• Workshop-based practical skills
• The use of materials and manufacturing processes
• Supporting pupils to develop, refine and evaluate design ideas
The ability to contribute to our Art & Design provision, including 3D Design, would be a significant advantage.
Previous experience of teaching the OCR Cambridge National in Engineering Design would be desirable but is not essential. We are happy to provide appropriate training and support for a strong Design Technology or Product Design teacher who has the skills and enthusiasm to develop in this area.

• Understands the importance of accurate assessment and high-quality feedback
• Can support pupils to produce work of a consistently high standard
• Is willing to contribute to the continued development of the department
• Works effectively as part of a collaborative team
Applications are welcomed from experienced teachers and ECTs.
