Summary
Business Development Manager
Fully Remote
Self-employed contractor
10% commission from day one + basic retainer - OTE £100,000+ per annum
About Them
Our client is a fast-growing Digital Out-of-Home (DOOH) media business. They own and operate premium LED digital billboard screens across high-footfall commuter and urban locations in the UK, with fair, published pricing and guaranteed advertising frequency. They are moving from build phase into full commercial launch, and they need Business Development Managers who can start immediately and help shape it from day one.
The Role
This is a new business role. You will sell advertising campaigns across their digital billboard network, approaching local businesses, regional and national brands and agencies, pitching our client to decision-makers and closing campaigns. Once a deal is won, their dedicated account managers take over the client relationship, so you can stay focused on winning the next one. You manage your own pipeline and your own hours.
What you can earn:
- 10% commission on every new campaign closed, full booked value, from your first deal. No ramp-up or reduced starting rate.
- Retainer of up to £2,000 a month once you qualify.
- Recurring income: trailing commission on renewals of accounts you closed.
- OTE of £60,000 to £70,000+ a year, with no cap on commission
What you will do:
- Prospect local businesses around their screens, and approach brands for regional and national coverage.
- Pitch their advertising solutions to decision-makers and close campaigns.
- Open multi-site and network-wide opportunities as the network grows.
- Hand won clients over to their account management team.
About you:
- Proven experience as a BDM or senior sales professional.
- A track record of winning new business and closing deals.
- Self-motivated, target-driven and comfortable working independently.
- Strong communication and negotiation skills.
- Media and advertising experience is a plus, but not essential.
- Available to start immediately.
How it works:
- Self-employed contractor role with full flexibility over your schedule.
- You are responsible for your own tax and National Insurance.
- Route into a permanent employed role for strong performers.
