Summary

Accounts Assistant – Temporary Contract

Location: Bodmin, Cornwall

Pay: £14.00 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:45am–5:00pm

Contract: 3 months, with the possibility of extension

Working pattern: Full-time, with part-time considered

We are recruiting on behalf of our client for an organised and accurate Accounts Assistant to provide financial and administrative support on a temporary basis.

Key Responsibilities

• Input financial data and maintain accurate records.

• Carry out reconciliations and assist with payroll administration.

• Support weekly, monthly and year-end accounting tasks.

• Respond to financial queries and liaise with colleagues, suppliers and customers.

• Assist with general office duties and attend occasional events when required.

About You

We are seeking a bubbly and approachable person with a can-do attitude, who enjoys working with others and contributes to a positive and enjoyable office atmosphere.

You will have good numerical skills, strong attention to detail and the ability to manage your workload effectively. You should be organised, reliable and comfortable working independently and as part of a team.

Previous experience with accounting systems is essential.
