Summary
We're looking for a HR Team Leader to join our HR Shared Service Centre based in Rushden
Location: Rushden - Hybrid working available with travel to the office required 2-3 days per weekHours: 37.5 hours per week - some flexibility on hours available if desired, just let us know when you speak to us.

As an HR Team Leader, you'll play a key role in supporting the effective management and development of a team of HR Administrators. You'll be the first point of contact for your team, providing guidance, coaching and day-to-day support while ensuring the delivery of an efficient, professional and customer-focused HR service. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of operational activities, handle complex queries, and support high levels of engagement and productivity across the team.
What will you be responsible for?
As a HR Team Leader, you'll be working within the Employee Life Cycle team, supporting them in delivering exceptional HR administration services. Your day to day will include:
-Coordinating the delivery of daily tasks, ensuring work is distributed effectively and completed within deadlines
-Acting as an escalation point for complex queries whilst coaching and mentoring team members
-Monitoring the quality of work output against KPIs and SLAs, analysing performance and driving improvements
-Supporting the Team Manager with people management activities including performance management, absence management and employee wellbeing
-Building strong working relationships and fostering a positive, inclusive culture that demonstrates the Kier 9 Healthy Behavioural Framework
What are we looking for?
This role of HR Team Leader is great for you if:
-You have proven experience in managing a team and can demonstrate customer service excellence
-You have experience of high-volume administration, ideally in an HR Shared Service Centre environment
-You're comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced, complex environment and can effectively communicate at all levels
-You have experience of Family friendly processes and TUPE activity
-You're enthusiastic, driven to create a positive working environment, and able to apply coaching within the workplace
