We’re recruiting for a permanent Nursery Practitioner in the heart of Wallingford, offering a fantastic opportunity to join a small, welcoming setting with a lovely family feel.

With just 25 children, this nursery offers that special small-setting atmosphere where you can build meaningful relationships, get to know each child as an individual and really feel part of the team. You’ll be getting stuck into all the fun of nursery life, from creative activities and messy play to stories, games and supporting those all-important early learning milestones. You’ll help create a safe, happy and stimulating environment where children can build confidence, explore and thrive.

Even better? This is a full-time role worked over just four days per week! You’ll receive a salary of £30,576 per year and 28 days of annual leave, giving you a fantastic opportunity to enjoy a rewarding permanent career with an extra day away from work each week.

Required Skills & Experience

We’re looking for someone who is:

Passionate about childcare and excited to help little ones learn and grow

Energetic, enthusiastic and ready to get involved in everyday nursery life

Creative, playful and full of ideas for engaging activities

Caring, patient and understanding of children’s individual needs

Confident building positive relationships with children, parents and colleagues

A reliable team player who enjoys being part of a smaller setting

Committed to providing a safe, welcoming and stimulating environment

A relevant early years childcare qualification and experience working in a nursery setting are desirable for this practitioner role.
