Summary
PSV Technician – Day Shift
£17.48 per hour + Overtime
Description
We are recruiting for a PSV Technician to join a busy workshop, preparing passenger service vehicles for MOT inspections. HGV experience will also be considered.
Pay Rates
• Basic rate: £17.48 per hour.
• Monday–Friday overtime: £21.85 per hour.
• Weekend overtime: £26.22 per hour.
Working Hours: Day shifts, either 07:00–15:30 or 08:00–16:30.
The PSV Technician Role
• Prepare PSV vehicles for MOT inspections.
• Carry out vehicle checks and identify defects.
• Complete maintenance and repairs where required.
• Ensure vehicles meet safety and roadworthiness standards.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
• Previous experience in vehicle maintenance or MOT preparation.
• Strong mechanical knowledge and attention to detail.
• Ability to identify defects and follow workshop procedures.
• Reliable, professional and a good team player.
• HGV or PSV experience advantageous.
