Summary
PSV Technician
£20.11 per hour + Overtime
Description
We are recruiting for a PSV Technician to join a busy workshop maintaining and repairing passenger service vehicles. HGV Technicians will also be considered.
Pay Rates
• Basic rate: £20.11 per hour.
• Monday–Friday overtime: £25.13 per hour.
• Weekend overtime: £30.16 per hour.
• An additional £2 per hour across all rates is available for candidates who hold a Level 3 qualification, are an IMI member and pass the technician test.
Working Hours: Rotating early and late shifts, working 5 days out of 7, including weekends.
The PSV Technician Role
• Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs on PSV vehicles.
• Diagnose and rectify mechanical faults.
• Complete inspections and preventative maintenance.
• Ensure vehicles are maintained to a safe and roadworthy standard.
• Work effectively as part of a team.
Requirements
• Previous experience as a PSV Technician or HGV Technician.
• Strong mechanical and fault-finding skills.
• A team-player attitude.
• Level 3 qualification, IMI membership and a successful technician test required for the additional £2 per hour.
