Summary

WoofWalk is a UK booking app for dog owners, and we're launching in Hamilton. We're looking for up to five self-employed walkers covering different parts of the town, such as Blantyre, Burnbank, Fairhill and Bothwell, and around Strathclyde Country Park and Chatelherault Country Park.

This is not a job with a wage, and we can't guarantee any bookings. You run your own small dog walking business through the app. You choose your prices, your days and your patch, owners book and pay through the app, and the money goes to your bank.

Walkers on WoofWalk set their own prices. An hour's solo walk is typically listed at £12 to £28, with £18 the middle price (about 200 listings, October 2026). These are other walkers' prices, not a wage.

Terms, plainly: joining is free. You pay no commission for your first 14 days, then 15% of each booking, which falls to 10% once five of your own clients join. Any client you bring yourself pays the lower rate from their first booking. Your own tax, National Insurance and insurance are your responsibility.

Setting up is easy with our help: send us your area, days and price and we'll draft your profile for you to check. If you already walk dogs, bring your clients and manage bookings, payments and GPS-tracked walks in one app.

You need to be over 18, happy walking in all weathers, and willing to meet each owner and dog first. Apply through Find a Job and tell us which part of Hamilton you can cover.
