Summary

We are recruiting for an experienced Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic to join a busy main dealership in Stourbridge. Applicants must have previous experience within a main dealership or independent garage, hold a Level 3 qualification in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair, a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK. An MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essential.

Location: Stourbridge

Salary: Up to £36,000 Basic | OTE: £45,000+ (Uncapped)

Bonus: Uncapped Bonus Scheme + Paid Overtime

MOT Allowance: Additional £125 per month for qualified MOT Testers

Hours: Full Time, Permanent Position

Vehicle Technician Role

- Carry out servicing, maintenance and repairs to manufacturer standards

- Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults using modern diagnostic equipment

- Complete vehicle health checks and identify additional repair work

- Carry out repairs efficiently while maintaining high quality standards

- Accurately complete job cards and workshop documentation

- Work closely with Service Advisors and the workshop team

- Maintain high standards of Health & Safety and workshop organisation

Vehicle Technician Requirements

- Level 3 NVQ Diploma in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair Competence (or equivalent qualification)

- Previous experience as a Vehicle Technician, Automotive Technician, Motor Vehicle Technician or Car Mechanic

- Experience within a main dealership or independent garage

- Strong servicing, diagnostic and repair skills

- MOT Tester Licence is desirable but not essential

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Right to work in the UK
