Summary

This post requires a general practitioner who has successfully attained their MRCGP qualification. In addition, the following is required: An excellent clinician who can bring their General Practice expertise to the community paediatric service. Ideally, experience of managing children with developmental concerns as part of their current or previous placements / jobs / rotations. This can be experience as part of GPVTS training. Enthusiasm to develop their knowledge and skills in community paediatrics. Is committed to team working in a multi-professional setting. Understands the importance of audit and research in the continuing development of practice Medical Indemnity is provided via NHS Resolution (Previously the NHS Litigation Authority). Annual leave and study leave are provided, and funding is available for further study. The post holder will: Behave consistently with the values and beliefs of the organisation and promote these on day-to-day basis. Act as a role model to colleagues, always seeking to maintain the highest standards of professionalism. Use their initiative and take responsibility for themselves and the quality of their work and the service they provide to patients.
