Mealtimes here are taken seriously and they are now looking for an experienced and passionate Nursery Chef to take full ownership of the kitchen and ensure every child receives fresh, nutritious, and delicious meals every single day.

Key Responsibilities
• Preparing and serving fresh, balanced, and age-appropriate meals in line with the nursery's nutritional guidance for under-fives
• Ensuring all meals are prepared in full accordance with each child's documented allergy and dietary requirements
• Implementing rigorous processes to prevent cross-contamination, including clearly labelled, separate utensils and preparation areas
• Maintaining a safe, clean, and hygienic kitchen at all times, meeting all food hygiene and Health & Safety standards
• Managing stock levels, ordering, and supplier relationships to keep the kitchen running smoothly
• Maintaining accurate records relating to food preparation, cleaning schedules, and equipment maintenance
• Working collaboratively with the nursery team, contributing to the warm and caring ethos of the setting
