Summary
Three self-employed pet sitters wanted in Newcastle upon Tyne and the surrounding Tyneside postcodes. This is separate from our walking advert: a sitter looks after a dog in the owner's own home while the owner is away, rather than taking it out for an hour.
What it involves: daily drop-ins for food, water, any medication, a toilet break and a walk, or overnight house sitting over a weekend or a week. Owners leave a routine and keys; you leave the house as you found it and send a short update each day. This kind of cover is usually a few days of work travel or a week's holiday.
Local sitters list a home visit publicly at about £13 and a night of home boarding at about £35. Those are their prices, not ours. In WoofWalk you set your own price per visit and per night. Having dogs stay in your own home is home boarding, a separate service in the app, and it needs a licence from your council before you accept a booking.
WoofWalk is a UK booking app for dog owners, not an employer. You are self-employed: no wage, no guaranteed bookings, and you choose which jobs to take. Owners book and pay through the app and the money is paid out to your bank. Nothing to pay to join; no commission for the first 14 days, then 15% per booking, falling to 10% for life once five of your own clients have joined through you. Your own tax, National Insurance and insurance.
