Summary

My client are a well-established, reputable Main Contractor who are well established and work nationally on a mixture of fast track fit outs within the retail and banking sector, as well as design & build projects across the commercial sector.

They have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Contracts Manager to join them on a permanent basis, working within their Fit Out division and managing retail fit out projects nationally.

The company work on roll outs with a number of large clients across the UK in the retail, leisure and commercial sectors, working on a mixture of Fit Out and Refurbishment (internal and external) projects.

The Construction Manager would work closely with senior management, and would be responsible for managing a variety of contracts at high level.

Your duties will include:

Programme delivery and planning

Regular liaison with the client and contract reporting

Building internal and external relationships

Providing regular progress updates and resolving any issues as and when they arise

Overall staff responsibility and man management of a team of Site Managers, Assistants Site Managers, and Foremen and direct and subcontract plant and trades.

Ensuring high standards of Health and Safety

The successful applicant will come from a Main Contractor background and have experience of delivering multiple contracts across the Leisure/Commercial/Retail Fit Out sectors.

Please note - travel across the UK will be required as part of this role

The company will offer a competitive basic salary of up to £70k plus package.
