Summary
HGV Technician
Location: West Thurrock
Pay: £24 per hour + Overtime at 1.5x
Hours: 45 hours Mon-Fri 06.00 - 15.30 and 12.30 - 22.00; Saturday's as required

We are recruiting for an experienced
HGV Technician to join a leading commercial vehicle main dealer due to continued growth and increased customer demand.
You will work on modern commercial vehicles within a professional workshop environment, with access to manufacturer training and progression opportunities.
Key Responsibilities a s an
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician, you will:
• Carry out servicing, repairs and maintenance on HGVs and commercial vehicles
• Diagnose mechanical, electrical and technical faults using computer-aided diagnostic equipment
• Complete inspections and repairs to manufacturer and DVSA standards
• Maintain accurate job cards and service documentation
• Carry out final checks to ensure quality workmanship
• Support workshop standards and safe working practices
Skills & Experience Required t o be considered for this
HGV Technician / HGV Mechanic / Commercial Vehicle Technician role, you will need:
• Proven experience as an
HGV Technician,
HGV Mechanic or
Commercial Vehicle Technician
• Level 3 HGV Technician qualification or equivalent
• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills
• Experience working on heavy vehicles within a workshop environment
• Main dealer experience desirable but not essential
• Full UK driving licence
