Summary

Looking for a stable, full-time job with the potential to secure a permanent position? We’re recruiting Counterbalance FLT Drivers / Production Operatives to join a busy food manufacturing business in Heckington.

This role offers a mix of forklift driving and hands-on production work, making it ideal for someone who enjoys a varied working day and wants to build a long-term future with a company.

The Role

You’ll split your time between operating a Counterbalance Forklift Truck and supporting the wider production and warehouse teams to keep daily operations running smoothly.

Your duties will include:

Safely operating a counterbalance forklift to move stock and materials

Loading and unloading deliveries

Assisting with general production and warehouse duties

Following food hygiene, Health and Safety and quality procedures

Keeping production and warehouse areas clean, tidy and organised

Carrying out manual handling tasks when required

To be considered for this role, you’ll need:

A valid Counterbalance FLT licence — in-house licences are not accepted

Reliable attendance and excellent timekeeping

A genuine interest in securing long-term employment

The ability to undertake manual handling and work in a physically active environment

The ability to work comfortably in a busy food production setting

No allergies to peanuts or tree nuts

Long-term, ongoing work

Temporary position with the opportunity to secure a permanent contract

Monday to Friday

12-hour day shifts

Overtime paid after 48 hours worked per week

£13.75 per hour
