Summary
JOB TITLE: PRACTICE NURSE REPORTS TO: LEAD PRACTICE NURSES AND CLINICAL SERVICES HOURS: Part-time hours to be discussed The Nurse will work as part of the Primary Healthcare Team providing nursing care to the patients of the practice. Job responsibilities include Assist in and perform routine tasks related to patient care as directed by senior nursing staff and GPs Cytology / vaginal swabs Wound care / ulcer care Removal of Sutures Travel vaccinations ECGs - training as necessary Health checks - training as necessary Venepuncture Routine immunisations Childhood immunisation - training as necessary Assisting GPs with minor surgery if required Long term conditions reviews
