Summary

Estates Cleaner - Care Home

Location: Tamworth

Pay Rate: £13.28 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:00-15:30

Working Hours: 35 hours per week

Break: 30-minute unpaid break

Requirement: DBS check

The Best Connection Tamworth are recruiting for an Estates Cleaner

Our client is looking for a reliable and hardworking Estates Cleaner to join their Estates Team, working within a care home environment.

You will be responsible for maintaining clean, hygienic and welcoming communal areas for residents, visitors and staff. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who takes pride in their work and understands the importance of cleanliness in a care setting.

A DBS check is required for this position.

The Role

Your duties will include:

  • Vacuuming communal areas.

  • Cleaning windows, window sills and handrails.

  • Cleaning kitchen areas.

  • Maintaining cleanliness in lounges and communal spaces.

  • Cleaning corridors and walkways.

  • Cleaning toilets and washroom facilities.

  • Ensuring all communal areas are clean, tidy and presentable.

  • Following cleaning procedures and health and safety guidelines.

  • Maintaining high standards of hygiene throughout the care home.

Working Hours and Pay

  • £13.28 per hour

  • Monday to Friday

  • 08:00-15:30

  • 30-minute unpaid break

  • 35 working hours per week

Requirements

The successful candidate will:

  • Be reliable, punctual and hardworking.

  • Have good attention to detail.

  • Take pride in maintaining high standards of cleanliness.

  • Be comfortable working in a care home environment.

  • Be able to work independently and manage their daily workload.

  • Be willing to undertake the required DBS check.

Previous cleaning experience would be an advantage.
