Summary

Aftersales Manager – Gloucester

We are recruiting for an experienced Aftersales Manager, Service Manager or Automotive Aftersales Manager to join an established main dealership in Gloucester. Applicants must have previous management experience within the Motor Trade, hold a Full UK Driving Licence and have the right to work in the UK.

Location: Gloucester, Gloucestershire

Salary: £40,000 basic with a £55,000 OTE - plus company car

Hours: 8:00am to 6:00pm with occasional Saturdays

Aftersales Manager Role

- Manage the daily operation of the Aftersales Department, ensuring excellent customer service and operational efficiency

- Lead, motivate and develop the Service and Workshop teams to achieve departmental targets

- Maximise workshop productivity, profitability and overall Aftersales performance

- Monitor workflow, job allocation and workshop efficiency to ensure work is completed on time

- Resolve customer enquiries and issues relating to servicing, repairs, warranties and MOTs

- Identify opportunities to improve processes, customer retention and departmental profitability

- Provide hands-on operational support when required

Aftersales Manager Requirements

- Previous management experience within the Motor Trade

- Strong understanding of automotive Aftersales, Service and Workshop operations

- Proven ability to lead teams and improve departmental performance

- Excellent communication, organisational and customer service skills

- Commercial awareness with the ability to maximise productivity and profitability

- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills

- Full UK Driving Licence

- Right to work in the UK
