Summary
Portsmouth is one of the most densely populated cities in the country, full of flats and terraces without much garden, and it has no WoofWalk walker yet. We want three: one for Southsea, one for the north of the island, one for Cosham and the mainland side.
WoofWalk is a UK app on which dog owners book a walker or sitter from their part of town. You are self-employed on it; your prices, hours and bookings are your own, owners pay through the app, and the money is paid out to you. We do not employ you, there is no wage, and there are no guaranteed bookings.
No Portsmouth price research yet; nationally an hour's walk lists at around £15 on public sitter sites. You decide your own.
Southsea Common, Milton Common and Hilsea Lines are the daily grounds; the beach has summer restrictions, so it is a winter ground.
Free to join. No commission in your first 14 days, then 15% of each booking, falling to 10% for life once five clients have signed up through you. You carry your own tax, National Insurance and insurance.
Naval households with someone away at sea are a natural market, and students at the university fit the walking side. Over 18.
