Summary
Plymouth has no WoofWalk walker yet. We want five, spread from the Hoe and Stonehouse through Mutley and Peverell to Plympton and Plymstock, because the city is long and owners want someone close.
WoofWalk is a UK app that dog owners use to book a local walker, visit or sitter. You are self-employed on it. You decide your prices, your hours and your bookings; owners book and pay in the app and you are paid out. We are not an employer: there is no wage and no guaranteed income.
No Plymouth price research yet; nationally, public listings put an hour's walk at about £15. You set yours, and we show you what you would keep.
The Hoe, Central Park, Saltram and Plymbridge Woods take the daily walks, with Dartmoor half an hour away for anyone offering a proper hike.
Nothing to pay to join. 0% commission for your first 14 days, then 15% of each booking, and 10% for life after five of your clients have joined through you. Tax, National Insurance and insurance are things you sort out yourself.
Naval families with a partner at sea are a big part of Plymouth, and that is exactly who needs a walker. Over 18.
