Improve attendance through hands-on approaches, including engaging with families, pupils and the wider systemTo secure the very best standards of social and emotional mental health across the school through mentoring and in - class supportPrioritise the importance of good physical and mental health and positive learning behaviours for pupilsBe responsive to the needs of pupils Main Responsibilities:Support for the Pupils and StaffSupport an ethos in which all staff are motivated and supported to develop their own skills and subject knowledge through effective communication and collaborationUse evidence-informed practice to support and develop emotional resilience in and outside the classroom.Plan and support a range of extracurricular learning opportunities.Contribute towards key fundraising events. Contribute to identifying key areas of strength and improvement with detailed knowledge of the school's day-to-day policies and working practices.Ensure that any systems implemented are fair and transparent, and promote the well-being of childrenKnowledge and Understanding:Understand the relationship between the curriculum, social and emotional learning and educational achievements.Show an understanding of how teamwork contributes to school improvement.
