The Role

As a Learning Support Assistant, you will work closely with teachers and pastoral teams to support students across Key Stages 3 and 4, helping them to access learning and achieve their full potential.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing academic and pastoral support to students in lessons

• Supporting pupils with additional learning needs, including SEND

• Delivering targeted interventions on a one-to-one and small-group basis

• Helping to create a positive, engaging and inclusive learning environment

• Building the skills and experience required for future teacher training

Who We Are Looking For

• Hold a

2:1 degree or above from a reputable university

• Have strong GCSEs and A-Level results

• Are passionate about education and supporting young people

• Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills

• Are considering teacher training in the future

• Can commit to a full academic year

Previous experience working with young people is advantageous but not essential.
