About the Role

As a Later Living Manager (Housing Support with Meals), you will manage the day-to-day delivery of housing support within a Later Living development where a meals service is available.

Your main focus will be housing support, customer wellbeing and creating a safe, welcoming and well-managed development. You will also line manage cooks and catering colleagues, who are responsible for preparing and delivering the meals service.

A Typical Day Might Include

A typical day might include supporting colleagues, overseeing customer support plans, responding to customer needs, promoting independence and community connection, supporting catering colleagues where meals are provided, liaising with families or external partners and maintaining accurate service records.

Managing a Development with a Meals Service

In this role, “with meals” describes the development setting. Your main focus will be housing support, customer wellbeing, employee support and community life, with line management responsibility for cooks and catering colleagues.

Vacancy Summary

This role is based at Parkhead Court, Dumfries, Dumfries & Galloway DG1 3JF.

Hours: 39 hours, over 5 days per week

Salary: £17.58 per hour, £35,644 per annum

Contract type: Permanent / Full-time
