Higher Level Teaching Assistant – Humanities

Required as soon as possible.

PP 26 – 29, term time (38 weeks) plus 2 days

Actual Salary £31,496 - £34,121

We are looking to appoint a HLTA/Cover Supervisor for our Humanities department who will be responsible for supervising classes during the absence of teaching staff. Under the direction and supervision of teaching staff, the successful candidate will also provide learning support and assistance to pupils in and out of the classroom and may also work with small groups of pupils and on a one-to-one basis. The role also involves providing admin support as directed by Heads of Subject, for example creating or ordering resources.

The successful candidate should have a strong interest or background in Humanities and may have a related degree. They will have a passion to inspire and maintain high quality teaching and learning and have a flexible approach to their job role.
