Summary
Humanities Teacher
Moore Teachers is working with a welcoming and well-resourced secondary school seeking an enthusiastic Humanities Teacher to join their team on a long-term basis. This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated teacher who can inspire students across the Humanities curriculum and deliver engaging lessons that promote curiosity, critical thinking, and academic success.
The Role:
- Teaching Humanities subjects across Key Stages 3 and 4
- Planning and delivering engaging, differentiated lessons
- Monitoring and assessing student progress effectively
- Creating a positive and inclusive learning environment
- Working collaboratively with colleagues to support pupil achievement
- Full teaching responsibilities may include planning, marking, assessments, parents' evenings, and departmental meetings
The Ideal Candidate:
- Holds Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or an equivalent recognised teaching qualification
- Has recent experience teaching Humanities within a UK secondary school
- Demonstrates strong classroom and behaviour management skills
- Has excellent communication and organisational abilities
- Is passionate about helping students reach their full potential
- Can quickly build positive relationships with pupils and staff
