Summary

We are looking to appoint a dedicated and confident Cover Supervisor to work across the curriculum and phases of the school. Applications from staff currently working in mainstream and special schools are very welcome. The post is hugely important and offers variety across the week. You will provide cover for staff (usually teachers but also TAs), often at short notice, and will need to be able to interpret planning quickly and adapt teaching as necessary. The cover supervisor needs to be flexible in their approach and be confident to teach pupils across KS2 to KS4. This role will add to our current team of cover supervisors under the direction of a member of the senior team. At Alderman Knight, we place great value on staff working to their strengths, while also ensuring that everyone feels confident supporting pupils across the school.
