Hours: Monday to Friday, 9:30am – 6:30pm (40 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a passionate, qualified childcare professional to join a dedicated team in Bermondsey as a Full-Time Room Leader. We are seeking a dynamic individual to help provide high-quality care and education in a safe, nurturing environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Leading and supporting the room team to provide high-quality care and education.
Overseeing the planning and delivery of daily activities in line with the nursery’s curriculum and the EYFS framework.
Acting as a Key Person, maintaining accurate learning and development records.
Ensuring the environment is safe, welcoming, and meets all health and safety requirements.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
At least 1 year of experience leading a room or team in a nursery or early years setting in the UK.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to use your own initiative.
Excellent understanding of the EYFS and experience in planning and monitoring children’s learning and development.
A positive, team-focused attitude with a genuine love for working with children.
Must have a valid Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for this position).
