Hours: Monday to Thursday 7:45am – 3:00pm, Friday 7:45am – 3:30pm (34 hours per week)
An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced childcare professional to join a dedicated team in Bermondsey as a Senior Nursery Practitioner. We are seeking a passionate individual to help provide high-quality care and education while supporting our room leadership.
Key Responsibilities:
Supporting the Room Leader in leading the nursery team to provide outstanding care and education in line with the EYFS.
Planning and delivering activities that support children’s learning and development.
Acting as a Key Person and confidently supporting and mentoring junior staff.
Ensuring the environment remains safe, welcoming, and compliant with health and safety standards.
Ideal Candidate Requirements:
Minimum Level 3 Early Years Educator qualification.
At least 2 years of experience working with children aged 2–5 in a nursery setting in the UK.
Strong leadership, organisational, and communication skills, with the ability to use your own initiative.
Excellent understanding of the EYFS and experience in planning and monitoring children’s learning and development.
A positive, team-focused attitude with a genuine love for working with children.
Must have a valid Right to Work in the UK (visa sponsorship is not available for this position).
