Description
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Children Services Experienced / Senior Social Worker - Level 3 (PO3) to join our Social Care team. This role is integral to ensuring the safety, wellbeing, and positive development of children and young people within the community. As a senior social worker, you will be responsible for managing complex cases, providing expert assessment, intervention, and support to vulnerable children and their families. You will work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams and partner agencies to develop effective care plans that promote safeguarding and empower families. Responsibilities
Manage a caseload of complex children and families requiring social work intervention.
Conduct thorough assessments to identify needs, risks, and protective factors.
Develop, implement, and review child protection and care plans in collaboration with families and partner agencies.
Support and empower children and families through effective communication and engagement.
Attend and contribute to multi-agency meetings, including Child Protection Conferences and Case Reviews.
Provide guidance, supervision, and mentoring to junior social workers and students.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, ensuring compliance with legal and organizational standards.
Advocate for the rights and wellbeing of children in all aspects of their care.
Hours Per Week: 37.00
Start Time: 09:00
End Time: 17:00
Pay Per Hour: £29.79
Location: Southwest London
