Summary

We’re looking for an experienced Nursery Deputy Manager to join Mindful Nurseries Addiscombe, our friendly 40-place nursery in Addiscombe, Croydon. This is an excellent opportunity for an existing Deputy Nursery Manager or an experienced Nursery Practitioner, Senior Nursery Practitioner, Room Leader or Third in Charge who is ready to take the next step into nursery management.

You’ll work closely with the Nursery Manager to support the day-to-day running of the nursery, lead and support the Early Years team, maintain excellent standards of safeguarding and childcare, oversee staffing and ratios, support delivery of the EYFS and build positive relationships with children and families.

Being a smaller 40-place nursery means you will remain hands-on with the children and team rather than spending your working day in an office.

Salary £34,000–£38,000 per year depending on qualifications, experience and skills, with 4 or 5-day working options available.
