We are working with a large, established domiciliary care provider with an ambitious growth strategy and a strong focus on innovation, technology and improving outcomes for people receiving care at home.
They are looking to appoint an experienced Regional Director to provide strategic and operational leadership across a multi-branch region, taking responsibility for service quality, regulatory compliance, financial performance and business growth.
This is a senior leadership position, offering the opportunity to shape regional performance, develop operational teams and drive the continued growth of a large homecare operation.
The successful candidate will combine strong commercial and financial awareness with a genuine commitment to high-quality, person-centred care.
The Role
Reporting into senior leadership, you will provide direction and oversight across the region, working closely with Branch Managers and the Quality & Compliance Manager to ensure services are safe, effective, financially sustainable and consistently well managed.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Providing strategic leadership and direction across a multi-branch domiciliary care operation.
- Taking accountability for regional financial performance, P&L, budgets and operational results.
- Developing and implementing strategies to drive organic growth, increase service capacity and improve regional performance.
- Identifying opportunities to improve operational efficiency, profitability and service delivery.
- Leading initiatives to improve Care Worker engagement, development and retention.
- Providing leadership, support and performance management to Branch Managers and other senior colleagues.
- Ensuring strong governance, quality assurance and regulatory compliance across all services.
- Overseeing the appointment and performance of Registered Managers, ensuring appropriate management arrangements are in place.
- Monitoring service quality through regular branch visits, audits, reviews and performance reporting.
- Developing and implementing policies and procedures in line with regulatory requirements and best practice.
- Building effective relationships with service users, families, commissioners, external agencies and other stakeholders.
- Promoting a positive, inclusive and collaborative culture, with a strong focus on continuous improvement.
About You
You will be an experienced senior operational leader with a strong background in domiciliary care and the ability to manage a complex, multi-site operation.
You will bring:
- Significant management experience within a domiciliary care environment.
- Experience of leading managers and teams across multiple services or branches.
- Strong financial and commercial understanding, including P&L management, budgeting and financial performance.
- A proven ability to drive service growth, improve operational performance and deliver business objectives.
- A thorough understanding of CQC requirements, regulatory compliance and quality assurance.
- Experience of developing and retaining teams, improving engagement and building effective management structures.
- Strong leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
- A commitment to person-centred care, safeguarding and improving outcomes for people receiving support.
A Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care, or equivalent, would be advantageous, alongside relevant management qualifications.
The Organisation
You will be joining a forward-thinking organisation operating at significant scale within the UK homecare sector, combining established care delivery with technology-led innovation.
There is a genuine opportunity to make an impact, influence regional strategy and contribute to the continued development of services that help people live safely and independently in their own homes.
