Summary

We are recruiting on behalf of a reputable independent automotive business for the position of a Branch Manager in Bournemouth. This is an excellent Branch Manager opportunity for an experienced motor trade professional looking to lead a busy workshop and play a pivotal role in the company's ongoing growth. The ideal Branch Manager will possess strong mechanical skills, proven managerial experience, and a customer-focused approach.

Benefits:

- Salary up to £45,000 per annum, with performance-based bonuses as a Branch Manager

Duties:

- Oversee the daily operations of the Bournemouth branch to ensure efficiency and high standards

- Manage, motivate, and develop a team of technicians and support staff

- Act as the primary point of contact for customers and suppliers, maintaining strong relationships

- Implement and monitor operational procedures to optimise workflow and quality control

- Ensure compliance with health and safety standards and company policies

- Contribute to strategic planning and future growth initiatives

Requirements:

- Proven experience as a workshop controller, master technician, or in a similar managerial role within the motor trade

- Strong mechanical knowledge, with a background as a time-served mechanic

- Excellent leadership and communication skills, capable of managing a team effectively

- Strong organisational skills with the ability to implement operational procedures

- Sound understanding of heavy mechanics and diagnostics

- Customer service skills with a professional and approachable manner

- Ability to oversee work quality without being hands-on in every technical detail
