Summary

We are seeking a fully qualified Vehicle Technician to join a reputable, privately-owned multi-franchise car dealer group in Cheltenham.

As a Vehicle Technician, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality repairs and enhancements, ensuring customer satisfaction and operational excellence. This opportunity is ideal for experienced Vehicle Technicians looking to progress within a well-established business with a strong long-term future.

Benefits:

- Competitive starting salary between £32,000 and £48,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications

- Monthly bonus scheme bringing in around £4,000 to £6,000 annually

- 29 days annual leave, increasing to 33 days based on service

- No weekend work, with a 40-hour week: either 8:00am-5:00pm or 8:30am-5:30pm

Duties:

- Carry out fault diagnosis, servicing, and repairs in line with manufacturer standards

- Report vehicle condition, safety, reliability, and performance to the Service Manager

- Ensure all work complies with quality and safety procedures outlined by the dealership and manufacturer

- Maintain high standards of workmanship in a fast-paced dealership environment

- Accurately report faults, making appropriate repairs and replacements

- Support the team in achieving daily and monthly targets

Requirements:

- Qualified Vehicle Technician with IMI/NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in Light Vehicle Maintenance and Repair

- UK driving licence with minimal points

- Ability to produce high-quality work with attention to detail

- Motivated team player with good communication skills

- Live within a reasonable commuting distance of Cheltenham

- An active MOT licence would be advantageous but is not essential, as full training is provided
