Summary
What skills and experience we're looking for
The Westgate School is seeking an enthusiastic and committed House Leader & Education Support Mentor to join our team. Working closely with Year Leaders, families and external agencies, you will provide targeted support that enables pupils to overcome barriers to learning, develop resilience and confidence.
The role focuses on removing barriers to learning, promoting high expectations for attendance, punctuality, behaviour and personal development, and ensuring that pupils receive timely support to unlock their potential.
What we’re looking for:
This is a highly rewarding role, providing visible leadership of the House system as well as supporting attendance, behaviour, wellbeing and personal development while helping to create a calm, inclusive and purposeful learning environment where every pupil feels a strong sense of belonging.
Key skills/knowledge:
The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with strong interpersonal skills, a genuine commitment to inclusion, and the ability to build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
