This is a hands-on opportunity for an organised and dependable individual who can help coordinate daily activities and support a busy production team.About the companyThe company is an established manufacturing business based in Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire. Its operations include the production and supply of showering products, supported by warehouse, transport and logistics functions. The business places importance on quality, service, efficient operations and the contribution of its employees.Key responsibilities• Coordinate day-to-day warehouse and logistics activities• Support the allocation of work and prioritise tasks across the team• Help ensure goods are received, stored, picked and dispatched accurately• Maintain safe, tidy and efficient working areas• Monitor stock movements and assist with paperwork and records• Liaise with production and transport teams to keep operations running smoothly• Support the team with loading, unloading and general warehouse duties when required• Follow site procedures, health and safety requirements and operational instructions• Report issues, delays or discrepancies to the appropriate managerSkills and qualifications• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics or manufacturing environment• Experience of supervising or coordinating colleagues is advantageous• Good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise• Reliable, practical and safety-conscious approach• Clear communication skills and a positive attitude• Ability to work effectively as part of a team and take responsibility for daily tasks• Relevant warehouse, logistics or forklift qualifications are desirable, but not essential where training can be providedBenefits• Minimum of 8 hours paid• Paid every Wednesday• Overtime opportunities• Potential opportunity for permanent employment• Opportunity to be considered by local employersApply today.
