Summary
Exciting opportunities have arisen for enthusiastic and highly committed individuals to work within this unique and vibrant OT team. Other than working closely together, we also have fun and bond through the many team social activities! This is a fixed-term appointment for the period of 24 month post. Completion of the contract does not, by itself, guarantee renewal or further or permanent employment. This post will involve working in a mixture of clinics, mainstream and specials schools. Our service is keen to focus on evidence-based family-centred care principles and applying best practice guidelines to enable occupational participation. We are open to new ideas and constantly reviewing and modifying the way we work. In this role as a member of the Childrens Integrated Therapies Service, you will be expected to be a competent OT who is able to autonomously deliver evidence-based therapy to children and young people through full age ranges and across a variety of needs. You will be part of a community team where your proven ability to work collaboratively with children, young people and their families will support their development and facilitate them in achieving their aspirations. This will include being part of an immediate Occupational Therapy team and working with a broad multidisciplinary team and other partner agencies - forming part of network of support around the child and their family. You will be expected to work autonomously across the community settings, working jointly with our partner services of Education and Social Care. Throughout your working you are required to always maintain safeguarding of children and young people. Your leaderships skills will enable you to engage in development and support of the team, through supervision, training and guidance to team and contribute to development of the service. We are looking for team players who have a range of clinical experiences. Candidates will need to have good communication skills and any experience in working within an inter-disciplinary team and interagency collaboration will be an advantage. Regular supervision and support will be provided by Band 7. Are you the people we are looking for? This role is an Ealing Community Partners role through CNWL Trust.
