SEN Teaching Assistant - Acton (Primary)

Location: Acton, London Borough of Ealing Contract: Full‑time, 5 days per week Pay: £90-£110 per day (DOE) Start: ASAP

Role Overview

You will support pupils with a range of additional needs including ASD, ADHD, SEMH and speech & language needs. The role includes both 1:1 and small‑group support across KS1 and KS2.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide tailored support to pupils with SEND, following EHCP targets

- Assist with behaviour regulation, emotional support and positive routines

- Work closely with class teachers, SENCO and external specialists

- Support learning through adapted resources, modelling and scaffolding

- Promote independence, confidence and positive engagement

- Maintain accurate notes and contribute to SEND reviews where required

Requirements

- Previous experience supporting pupils with SEND (highly advantageous)

- Strong understanding of primary education and inclusive practice

- Ability to build positive, trusting relationships with pupils

- Confident behaviour management and a calm, consistent approach

- Enhanced DBS on the Update Service - essential

- GCSE Maths and English at Grade C or above

- Reliable, proactive and committed to pupil progress
