Summary

We’re currently recruiting experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers for an established transport operation, offering consistent Monday-to-Friday work, straightforward depot-to-depot routes and reliable weekly hours.

You’ll be completing regional or national trunking runs using curtain-sided trailers, with all loading and unloading carried out by forklift. There is no manual handling involved.

The Role

As an HGV Class 1 Driver, you’ll be responsible for transporting loads safely between depots and completing your allocated routes efficiently.

The role includes:

Depot-to-depot trunking

Regional and national routes

Curtain-sided trailers

No handballing

Forklift loading and unloading

Approximately 55 hours per week

Working in accordance with RTWTR regulations

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you’ll need:

Full UK Driving Licence with Category CE (Class 1) entitlement

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Valid Driver CPC Card

Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience

No more than 6 penalty points for minor motoring offences, for insurance purposes

No DR, DD, IN, CU or MS convictions

Generally 06:00 – 17:00
