Summary

No handballing and regular Monday-to-Friday trunking! We’re currently looking for experienced HGV Class 1 Drivers to join an established transport operation, offering consistent depot-to-depot work and straightforward routes.

You’ll be completing regional and national trunking work using curtain-sided trailers, with loading and unloading carried out by forklift, meaning there is no manual handling involved.

The Role

Your main responsibility will be transporting loads safely between depots while completing your allocated routes efficiently and on schedule.

The role includes:

Depot-to-depot trunking

Regional and national routes

Curtain-sided trailers

No handballing

Forklift loading and unloading

Approximately 55 hours per week

Working in line with RTWTR regulations

Requirements

To be considered, you’ll need:

Full UK Driving Licence with Category CE (Class 1) entitlement

Valid Digital Tachograph Card

Valid Driver CPC Card

Minimum 12 months’ Class 1 driving experience

No more than 6 penalty points for minor motoring offences, for insurance purposes

No DR, DD, IN, CU or MS convictions

Monday to Friday

Generally 06:00 – 17:00

Approximately 55 hours per week
